The Creative Force (Purush and Prakriti)
'The Creative Force' is composed of square, triangles and circle, the inverted triangle is a symbol of male (Purusha) on the upright female (Prakriti) triangle in copulation, it is also called Shree Yantra as a primal root-form representing the governing principles of life-creation in abstract imagery as a sign; it is universal as against individualistic, cognitive as opposed to emotional. The circle occurs very frequently in Yantra and Mandala which is derived principally from the motion of the revolutions of planets. This circle symbolizes wholeness or totality. The triangles also represent the three elements neutral, positive and negative as in an atom which might be interpreted as Sattwa, Rajas and Tamas. The triangles penetrate each-other in the form of a five-point star representing Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Sky.
